About

Our Story

Two friends, two experienced teachers, and a shared passion for helping children succeed.

We first met over 15 years ago while working in education and quickly discovered a shared commitment to supporting children and young people with additional learning needs. Since then, our friendship and professional partnership have grown alongside careers spanning more than two decades in education.

As qualified teachers and experienced SENCos, we have worked across a wide range of primary and secondary schools throughout Oldham, Rochdale, and Tameside, as well as internationally. Throughout our careers, we have supported children with diverse learning needs and worked in partnership with families, schools, and external professionals. We understand both the strengths and challenges of modern classrooms and recognise that some learners benefit from additional specialist support to fully understand and address their individual needs.

Before moving into education, Naomi worked in accountancy but felt drawn towards a career where she could make a meaningful difference to the lives of children and families. Alongside her work in schools, Alex has experience supporting university students with dyslexia, autism, and mental health difficulties as a specialist mentor and study skills tutor. Working with students across a wide range of higher education institutions provided a valuable perspective on the long-term impact of effective support and self-advocacy.

While we both continue to value our work in schools, we recognise the challenges that busy classrooms, curriculum demands, and limited resources can present. Through our assessment and tuition services, we are able to provide the personalised support, time, and understanding that many children need to reach their potential.

Our work is also shaped by personal experience. As parents of children with additional needs, including dyslexia, we understand first-hand the questions, concerns, and emotions that families often face. We have seen the transformative impact that timely identification, appropriate support, and positive relationships can have on a child's confidence and progress.
